LaShawn Childs

LaShawn joined the SparkWheel team in 2014 as a Site Coordinator at Shawnee Mission West High School before being promoted to the Program Director position in Kansas City, Missouri. She came to the organization with over 14 years of experience in child welfare and behavioral health services. In addition, Ms. Childs brings over eight years of experience in the alcohol and drug field serving in various capacities. She is a graduate of Emporia State University with a B.S. in Psychology and a M.A. in Community Counseling.
