What is SparkWheel?
SparkWheel is a non-profit organization that works by partnering with schools and communities to create customized solutions for each student. Through Student Support Coordinators, we are able to support students and teachers on an individual basis to remove non-academic barriers to learning.
The Problem
Schools Are Being Asked to Do More - With Less
Counselors are overextended, teachers are managing more than instruction, and principals are balancing urgent needs with long-term priorities.

At the same time, many barriers affecting students, including food insecurity, housing instability, mental health, and family challenges, exist outside the classroom but directly impact what happens inside it.

These challenges are not new, but their scale and complexity continue to grow.
The Solution
A Proven, School-Embedded Support Model
By placing Student Support Coordinators (SSC) in schools, they are able to identify the problems that impact students' success - connecting students and families to the right resources, at the right time.
