Employee Benefits

Insurance

SparkWheel offers health, vision, dental, telehealth, pet insurance, and a variety of additional insurance benefits for full-time employees.

Travel Allowance

Full-time school-based staff are provided a monthly allowance to offset incidental program related in-town travel expenses. 

PSLF Eligible 

As a registered non-profit organization, we are a qualified employer for those going through the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program.

Cell Phone Allowance

Full-time employees are provided a monthly allowance towards the use of their personal cell phones.

Out of Town Travel

Employees are reimbursed the cost of mileage when traveling for work out of town.

Flexible Fridays

All employees have the opportunity to participate in a flexible work schedule by taking afternoons off each Friday during June and July. 

Personal Leave

New employees start with access to personal leave and paid holidays, school-based staff received additional paid time off during the month of July.

Credit Card

Full-time staff are provided with an agency credit card for business purchases. 

Parental Leave

To support growing families, we offer Parental Leave. This is available for birthing parents, supportive partners, and for those receiving a child via adoption or foster care.

Work/Life Balance

SparkWheel supports a work/life balance through flexible time off policies, generous personal leave, and paid holidays.

Retirement

We help you prepare for life after your career by matching employee contributions in a 401k.

Mental Health Leave

All full-time employees receive mental health days in addition to Personal Leave. The policiy is inclusive of all mental health concerns and is up to the employee's discretion.

The work our student support coordinators do, day in and day out, improves the lives of students and families across our network – to be able to contribute to that work, feels incredible. We are all truly making a difference. 

Our organization actively seeks feedback from the employees, is transparent about the information received and shares the process to make changes as necessary. When I give feedback, I know my voice is heard and my feelings and opinions matter. 

Our organization goes above and beyond to provide opportunities of connection across our four-state network. We have many teams, committees and subgroups that work on planning, celebrating, encouraging and expanding the work we do!
