Alexis Carter-Black has built a twenty-five year career working in the public sector - for government and non-profit organizations in the fields of education, healthcare, the environment, and public policy advocacy. Alexis has focused her career on fundraising, grant proposal development and writing, program planning and evaluation, strategic planning, and Board development and has raised in excess of $100 million over her career. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration degree, both from the University of Oklahoma. Alexis shares three adult children with her husband, Shawn. They live in Oklahoma City with their Shih Tzu, Winston, and granddog, Luna the Goldendoodle.
