Blake Hensley

Blake Hensley has built an eight-year career in Kansas City’s nonprofit sector, working with organizations focused on education, public health, and community development. Blake has specialized in donor engagement, community-centered fundraising, event planning, and cross-sector collaboration—leading efforts that have connected millions in community support to student success. Blake's work has included increasing donor participation by 156% at the Kansas City School Foundation for Excellence, organizing Wyandotte County’s 2024 Back to School & Health Fair for over 2,700 attendees, and building partnerships across schools, public health departments, and grassroots organizations. Blake earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Public Policy from the University of Kansas, where they focused on systemic inequality. They live in Kansas City, where they enjoy baking bread, volunteering with local education initiatives, and cheering on the McLaren Formula 1 team.
