Ash Grove Charitable Foundation Awards $3,000 to Support SparkWheel’s Integrated Student Supports in Chanute Schools

CHANUTE, KANSAS - SparkWheel is excited to announce a generous $3,000 grant from the Ash Grove Charitable Foundation to support Integrated Student Supports (ISS) for students and families in Chanute, Kansas, during the 2024-2025 school year. 


This funding will help SparkWheel continue its mission of removing barriers to success and providing essential tools and resources for students and their families. With a focus on academic achievement, behavioral growth, and social support, SparkWheel is committed to empowering students to thrive in and beyond the classroom. 


The Ash Grove Charitable Foundation’s mission aligns perfectly with SparkWheel’s goals, as the Foundation is dedicated to building strong communities that flourish today and for future generations. “Last year, SparkWheel provided support services to 1,644 students in Chanute, with 183 receiving targeted, individual support,” said Noelle Haselhuhn, Director of Marketing & Communications, SparkWheel. “We are proud to share that 88% of students improved their academics, 82% improved their behavior, and 100% of seniors graduated. This grant from Ash Grove will help us continue making a lasting impact in our community."
