KANSAS CITY, MO – SparkWheel is proud to announce a generous $30,000 donation from the Cloud L. Cray Foundation to enhance financial literacy education for K-12 students in the Kansas City area. This funding will support SparkWheel’s FutureNow: Finance program, an interactive, experiential learning curriculum that empowers students to develop essential financial skills and make informed decisions about their financial futures.
The Cloud L. Cray Foundation’s primary mission is to support financial literacy programs for students in Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri, with a focus on experiential learning. Through this gift, the Foundation aims to improve the financial responsibility and decision-making abilities of the next generation of citizens in the region. The Foundation also supports initiatives that offer dignified, self-help opportunities for all members of the community.
"We are deeply grateful for the Cloud L. Cray Foundation’s investment in the financial futures of Kansas City students," said Noelle Haselhuhn, Director of Marketing & Communications of SparkWheel. "This partnership will allow us to continue delivering impactful financial literacy education through FutureNow: Finance, helping students gain the knowledge and confidence they need to navigate real-world financial challenges."
FutureNow: Finance provides students with hands-on experience in financial decision-making, guiding them through real-life scenarios such as budgeting, saving, and managing expenses. The program equips students with practical tools to build a secure financial future and encourages responsible financial habits from a young age. With the support of the Cloud L. Cray Foundation, SparkWheel will be able to expand its reach and help even more students in the Kansas City area make informed financial choices.
