SparkWheel Named to United Way’s 2025 Impact 100 List for Third Consecutive Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — SparkWheel is proud to announce its inclusion in the 2025 Impact 100 by United Way of Greater Kansas City—marking the third consecutive year the organization has been recognized as one of the region’s most impactful nonprofits.

The annual Impact 100 list highlights 100 high-performing health and human service organizations working to address critical challenges facing the Kansas City region. Selected through a competitive process reviewed by a diverse advisory committee, honorees are chosen based on their financial responsibility, measurable impact, and commitment to building a stronger, more resilient community.

SparkWheel serves more than 30,000 students across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Iowa. Through embedded, full-time Student Support Coordinators, SparkWheel provides one-on-one support and delivers essential needs items—from hygiene kits and food to school supplies and mental health referrals.

“We are proud to be a trusted community partner, charged with evaluating the optimal use of our region’s philanthropic investments to impactfully meet community needs,” said Jessica Blubaugh, United Way of Greater Kansas City Chief Philanthropy Officer. “The organizations included in this year’s Impact 100 are incredibly diverse in their reach, populations served and focus areas of work.”

Impact 100 partners receive unrestricted funding to support their mission and address the most urgent needs in the communities they serve.
