EL DORADO, KS - SparkWheel is proud to announce the receipt of a generous grant totaling $12,000 from United Way of El Dorado to support Integrated Student Supports (ISS) at El Dorado Middle School. This funding will enable SparkWheel to continue providing essential services to students, addressing both academic and non-academic needs to foster a sense of well-being and enhance overall success in school.
The SparkWheel Integrated Student Supports model is rooted in evidence-based practices, aiming to overcome barriers to learning and improve regular school attendance rates. By placing a Student Support Coordinator in each location, SparkWheel customizes services for individual students while providing supports accessible to the entire student body.

"This generous grant will allow us to expand our reach and positively impact the lives of even more students at El Dorado Middle School."
During the last school year, SparkWheel provided support to 432 students at El Dorado Middle School, with 57 students receiving targeted, individual reinforcement. Of those students, an impressive 86% showed improvement in academics, while 88% demonstrated improved attendance.
